GAAIIL – Cuba Relief Drive Initiative

The Guyana Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat Islam Lahore (GAAIIL), alongside a coalition of concerned citizens, organizations, and representatives from the Christian, Muslim, and Hindu communities, is supporting a humanitarian relief effort for the people of Cuba.
For more than sixty years, Cuba has endured severe economic hardship and blockade conditions that have deeply affected everyday life for ordinary citizens. In this time of difficulty, communities across Guyana are coming together in solidarity to assist with urgently needed supplies and humanitarian support.
The Cuba Relief Drive aims to collect essential food items, over-the-counter medications, hygiene products, energy supplies, school materials, and new clothing items to help families and vulnerable individuals facing ongoing shortages.
Requested contributions include powdered milk, rice, canned food, infant formula, vitamins, pain relievers, diapers, soap, stationery supplies, batteries, solar lanterns, and other non-perishable necessities. Financial contributions toward purchasing goods and assisting with shipping expenses are also welcome.
Drop-off points have been established at several locations across Guyana, including religious institutions and community centers participating in this collective humanitarian effort.
This initiative reflects the spirit of compassion, cooperation, and service to humanity shared across communities and faith traditions. We pray that these efforts bring relief, dignity, and hope to those affected.
