Mayhem in the Middle East could have been Avoided | World Affairs
By the beginning of 20th Century all Muslim countries with exception of Afghanistan were direct or indirect colony of a European power. In 2010 New York Times republished article, originally published in 1910. The article talked about Islamic Extremism and militancy that was taking roots in Afghanistan. The idea of taking over European colonists by militant Jihad was brewing. Even the Muslim religious leaders in British India were calling it ‘Dar ul Harb’ (House of War).
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib of Qadian (Mujjaddid of 14th Islamic Century) explained and identified Holy Quran and Hadith words ‘Dajjal and Yajooj-Majooj’ translated in English as Anti-Christ [for Christians acting totally opposite to teachings of Jesus Christ] and Gog-Magog [the two Caucasian nations originated from Caucasus Mountains region in Russia]. These nations spread in Europe and North America. They all have the Christian background ie they came out of Church.
Per Hadith of Rasool Allah SAWS he advised Muslims to avoid the confrontation and rather argue with Dajjal and make him a Muslim.
Rasool Allah SAWS in order to help Muslims identify arrival of Dajjal he gave many of its identifications. Per another Hadith of Rasool Allah SAWS he identified arrival of Dajjal with an era in which Jews and Christians [who do not get along with each other because Jews crucified God of Christians] will be together against Muslims and will wage wars on Muslims.
In July 1900 Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib wrote a book ‘Government Angrezi Aur Jihad’ [The British Government and Jihad]. In his book he brought up many interesting points. He requested Ruler of Afghanistan to stop and curb Islamic Militant thinking brewing in his country, by educating the true meaning of Jihad, otherwise it will spread in the entire world and bring bad name for Islam and destruction of Muslims, and violence on the entire earth.
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sahib further advised Muslims to not wage war on European Christian colonists ruling Muslim lands as they’re giving total freedom to Muslims to practice Islam in peace. He said days of militant Jihad to spread or defend Islam are over. Now it is time of Jihad with pen, publications, reasons, arguments and debates with the Christian European rulers and Christian missionaries. Take advantage of peace in Muslim countries, ruled by European Christian colonists. Get engaged in a peaceful propagation of Islam. Show the beautiful teachings of Islam to European colonists rulers. Take propagation of Islam to their home Christian countries. Do not waste time. Allah SWT has provided great opportunity to Muslims to interact with Christians. Do not let this opportunity pass by. Do not waste time, energies and lives engaging in a military conflict.
If Muslims in the world had concentrated their efforts and focused their energies on convincing Christians in Europe and North America in last 125 years, today there would not be majority of Christians, especially the Evangelical Christians in the USA, supporting the Zionists in Israel. We would not be watching the horrifying images of carnage from Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Iraq and now Iran. Jews, Christians and Muslims would be living as good neighbors and citizens in peace and harmony as they lived for centuries in the same countries. Even giving refugee to persecuted Jews of Spanish Inquisition.
Unfortunately Muslims wasted so much time, energies, and lives. Now 125 years later most of the Muslims and rulers of Muslim countries are realizing that nothing good will come out of direct conflict with Dajjal. Peaceful propagation of Islam is the only way forward. Those who did not learn in Middle East are learning now. And rest of Muslim world is watching horrifying videos (of babies, and civilians starving and dying) and unable to change the expected outcome. And those who are in relative safety are bending over backwards to appease the Dajjali forces so they are spared. Powerful militaries of Muslim countries are falling one after another.
I pray now Muslims learn from last 125 years history and change their focus to argue and convince Dajjal to accept beautiful message of Islam. I am confident InshaAllah this is how Islam will spread to Europe and North America. And inshaAllah The Sun [of Islam] will rise in the West. As predicted in Hadith of Rasool Allah SAWS.
